What is a Piacemolto made-to-measure shirt?
It is a shirt made to your measurements and your choices: cloth, collar, cuff, fit, buttons and, if you want one, a monogram. Unlike an off-the-peg size, every detail is set by you in the configurator, and the shirt is then made to order.
How do I take my measurements?
There are three ways in the configurator: start from a standard size, enter measurements taken from your body following the step-by-step guide, or take them from a shirt that already fits you well. Your measurements are saved to a profile you can reuse on later orders.
What is the difference between made-to-measure and bespoke?
A made-to-measure shirt starts from a pattern adapted to your measurements and your choices of style, which gives an excellent balance between fit and price. Traditional bespoke involves several fittings and more handwork, and costs more and takes longer. Made-to-measure online gives you most of the result through a simpler, faster process.
How do I choose the fit: Slim or Custom?
Slim fit is closer to the body and follows its line — the choice for a lean look. Custom fit is softer and more comfortable, with more room to move. Either way the shirt is still built on your own measurements: the fit only decides how close it sits.
What cloth do you use?
We use high-quality cloth, mostly cottons, chosen for their hand, their strength and how they hold up over time. Every cloth in the configurator states its composition and its characteristics.
How long does it take to receive the shirt?
Every shirt is made after the order is confirmed: making takes about 10–15 working days. Shipping adds 1–3 working days in Italy, 2–5 in Europe and 3–7 in the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada and the rest of the world. When your order leaves us you receive an email with the tracking number. These times are indicative and can vary with customs.
Can I return or exchange a shirt?
Because the shirt is made to your own measurements, returns follow our dedicated policy. Please check your measurements and your choices carefully before confirming. The full details are on our returns page.
How do I wash and care for the shirt?
Always follow the care label. As a rule, for cottons we suggest a moderate temperature, turning the shirt inside out, avoiding bleach and a hot tumble dryer, and ironing it slightly damp: the cloth and the collar last considerably longer that way.
Can I save my measurements for future orders?
Yes. With an account you can save one or more measurement profiles and call them up on your next order instead of entering them again. You manage your profiles from your account area.
Do you ship abroad, and what does it cost?
We ship worldwide, with tracking. Shipping to Italy and the European Union is always free, even for a single shirt. Everywhere else it is free from 2 shirts; for a single shirt it is €19 to the United Kingdom, €29 to the USA and Canada, and €35 elsewhere. Where shipping is charged, the cost is always shown in the basket before you confirm.
