The details that make the difference
Hand-sewn shoulder seam
Tailoring work, done by hand along the shoulder seam. The stitching finishes and settles the construction, following the line of the shoulder and giving the shirt a cleaner, more considered look. A detail that takes precision, judgement and control of the hand.
Hand-sewn buttonholes
The buttonholes on a Sartoria shirt are cut and finished entirely by hand. It is work that demands attention to the shape, evenness in the stitch and care along the edges. The result is a finish that is refined, precise and hard-wearing — and that shows at the one place people look first.
Hand-sewn buttons
Buttons are attached by hand, with attention to their position, to the tension of the thread and to the quality of the stitching.
